The highlands of Guatemala produce several of the world’s finest and most distinctive coffees. The highest grade of Guatemala coffee is Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) and that is what we are offering as one of our new varieties.

This is a coffee that combines complex nuance (smoke, spice, flowers, occasionally chocolate) with acidity ranging from gently bright to austerely powerful. You can taste the warming spices in this bean with a bitter sweet taste that remains BUT this is the good bitter you look for in a rich cup of coffee.

Medium Intensity / Balanced, sweet-bittersweet balance, a classic character.
