Chili Con Carne Con Coffee
| 2 lbs. | Quality Stew Meat (Turkey) | |
| 1 lg. | Onion | |
| 2 29 oz. cans | Tomato Sauce | |
| 1/2 cup | Brewed ArabicaDabra Dark Roast Coffee | |
| 1 15.5 oz. can | Pinto Bean | |
| 1 15.5 oz. can | Black Beans | |
| 1 15.5 oz. can | Kidney Beans | |
| 1/2 Tbsp | Sea Salt | |
| 1 Tbsp | Olive Oil | |
| 2 Tbsp | Canola Oil |
ArabicaDabra Chili Seasoning
| 1/4 Tsp | Garlic Powder | |
| 1 Tbsp | Fresh Ground Black Pepper | |
| 4 Tbsp | Chili Powder | |
| 2 Tbsp | Cumin | |
| 1/4 Tsp | Cayenne Pepper | |
| 1 Tsp | Finely Ground ArabicaDabra Coffee |
1. Sweat the onions in olive oil and put aside.
2. Heat 2 Tbsp of canola oil in 5 QT cooking pot with a lid, add stew meat to pot and brown
3. Add 1/2 Tsp sea salt, 1/4 Tsp fresh ground pepper, 1/4 Tsp garlic powder
4. Drain liquid and add cooked onion back into the browned beef (turkey)
5. Add 2 cans of tomato sauce
6. Add 1/2 cup brewed ArabicaDabra French Roast Coffee
7. Add ArabicaDabra Chili Seasoning
8. Rinse and drain beans
9. Add beans to beef
10. Cover and simmer on low heat for 2 hours or until the beef is tender
For a vegetarian chili, simmer all the ingredients (minus the meat) for 1/2 hour and the chili should be absolutely irresistible!
Coffee Honey Cake
3 lg. eggs
3 cups Flour
1 ½ cups. Sugar
1 tsp. Baking soda
¾ cup Oil
1 tsp. Baking powder
¾ cup honey
½ tsp. Salt
8 oz. Black ArabicaDabra coffee
1 tsp. Cinnamon
½ tsp. Ginger
½ tsp. Nutmeg
2 tsp. Cocoa
Beat eggs well, add sugar gradually; add oil, then honey. It is important to beat well after each addition. Sift flour with dry ingredients and seasonings and add, alternately with black coffee. Bake in oven at 375 degrees in tube or Bundt pan for 1 hour.
Coffee Marinade for Chicken
3 oz. Tomato Paste
3 cups Brewed ArabicaDabra Black Coffee
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic (crushed or ground)
1 tbsp Lemon Pepper
2 tsp Sesame Oil
2 tsp Worchester
½ tsp Paprika
¼ tsp Ground Ginger
2 tbsp Honey
Mix ingredients together in a storage container and place chicken parts in marinade for 4 hours (24 hours is better). Grill or broil until thoroughly cooked. This chicken will be finger licking good!
